The Weather Game exists to give you the opportunity to test out your weather forecasting skills, and have a bit of fun! It is suitable for everyone from school students, through undergraduates, postgraduates, research scientists, professional forecasters, and enthusiastic amateurs. You don't need to be an expert to do well!
If you're new to The Weather Game, you might want to start by reading the Instructions to get a feel for how to play the game. Once you're done there, you can go ahead and register your pseudonym. Pseudonyms add not only anonymity, but also a bit of humour to the game. Try to make yours something inventive, witty, and weather-related (there is a prize for the best one).
Once you've registered your pseudonym, you should submit an entry for the current week's competition. Your entry must be received by Friday at 19:00 London time. If you make a mistake in your entry, you can always submit another as the system will only score your most recent entry, provided the entry was made before the deadline.
Entries are scored during the following week. You can view the League Table to see where you stand, or see a detailed breakdown of your score for each week.

Good luck forecasting!
